Weapons
There are 100s of weapons in Warframe to choose from, here ill break down the weapon types so to help you choose what best suits your playstyle.
Primary weapons:
Shotguns: These are your typical buckshot shotguns but also include laser shotguns too.
Rifle: These cover a lot of weapon types, including assault rifles, single fire rifles, snipers, burst fire rifles.
Bows: These include normal bows you would use for hunting in the real world to explosive bows that blow up and split into more mini explosions.
Secondary weapons:
Pistols: Small single handed single fire pistols or even dual wielding full auto pistols. There are also laser variants of both types. Small handheld shotguns are also under the pistol category.

There are also subcategories of different weapon types.
These include the 3 faction types, infected, corpus and grineer.
Baro kiteer has his own range of weapons called Prisma.
There are 2 different bosses you can hunt down for Kuva(Grineer) and Tentet(Corpus) weapons.
Then theres event weapons. These both usual come in Wraith(Grineer) or Vandal(Corpus) weapons.
There is even craftable weapons on the 3 explorable plantets. You can craft melee weapons at the plains of eidolon on Earth. Secondary weapons at Fortuna on Venus and primary weapons also at venus aswell as Deimos on Mars.
Finally, are the prime weapons. These are variants of already existing weapons but upgraded cosmetically and with better stats. They usually release alongside a new prime warframe.
