Mods

Modifying your warframes, weapons, vehicles and companions is essential to progressing in the game. Mods are dropped by killing enemies or as mission rewards. You can also trade for them with other players in the market.

Mods are split into categories of rarity and they also have polarity slots.

Polarity slots are either a V for Madurai, a D for Vazarin or a Dash(-) for Naramon. These polarities are only useful for when you forma and upgrade a warframe to fit more mod slots.

Riven Mods are Specific weapon mods with the weapon in the title. They can only go on one weapon and are very rare.

Augment Mods are Specific to an individual warframe and will upgrade one their abilities.

Primed mods are upgraded versions of Regular mods but are expensive to upgrade.
